Jaqui started with The Garage in 2023 as a communications and marketing intern. She completed a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Communications and Spanish and Portuguese Literature. During her time in Pittsburgh, Jaqui worked for the Center for Latin American Studies, legal clinics, and with LLST as a translator for mental health resources for Hispanic families.

Prior to becoming the MAPS Coordinator, Jaqui worked as a Supports Coordinator throughout Chester and Delaware County. Jaqui moved to the U.S. in 2008, and as a first generation college student, she is passionate about supporting and encouraging other students in achieving their career goals.

Jaqui spends her free time working on her family’s catering business, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. When she is not working, she is probably training for a marathon.
